Meet some ‘canny anglers’ alongside presenter Rae Borras, who heads to Seaham Harbour in England’s County Durham, to find out about the north east’s premier sea angling club, Seaham AC.
Formed in 1912, Seaham AC is one of the oldest and largest sea angling clubs in the country. The club runs some 70 competitions each year, split between junior, senior and open events... that’s an average of one competition every 5.2 days!
Amongst these competitions we have the Seaham Open, also known as 'The Big Un', which has an incredible record entry of over 2,000 competitors!! Join Rae as he talks to local anglers about how to get the most from fishing the North East coast of England. Meet England International Jim Dobie, who gives away some of his secrets and tells us about his all-time best catches.
