Description
Andy Ford joins the boys from the 24/7 Sea Angling Club of Plymouth, so named because they eat, sleep and breathe fishing 24 hours a day.
For this episode of OnlineFishing.tv’s ‘Sea Watch UK’ series, the club’s on a trip to one of the best bass marks in Europe and a place where you can catch the wonderful species in the day as well as at night.
There are plenty of school bass to go at here, but there’s always the chance of a real specimen.
Indeed the club record was caught from this very mark, and the great thing about targeting bass of any size is that you don’t need to be a champion caster, as the fish come right into the surf.
Learn about this beautiful species, the right conditions, tides and moon phases to look for, and find out how to go about catching them consistently, while enjoying the craic with the boys from 24/7.
As they overcome some tricky conditions, these top class anglers pass on some great bait and rig tips that will give you the edge over other bass anglers on your next trip. And they discuss the importance of fish conservation with this slow-growing species.

About The 24/7 Sea Angling Club
The 24/7 club has been in existence for over a decade and in the time has made a number of TV shows and DVDs, highlighting some of the very best fishing around the south west coast of England.
This is a tightly-knit group of mates who fish hard, laugh hard and happen to be very, very good sea anglers as well.
Club members often field test equipment for tackle development, and produce many features for top sea angling magazines and fishing websites.
The 24/7 club has a tournament casting team, but the ethos is to try and educate up-and coming anglers, both old and new, to realise the importance of ‘catch and release’ to protect pressured sea fish stocks for future angling generations.
